Lovely Spot to Relax and Enjoy
Lovely Bed & Breakfast style place with comfy, modern rooms. About 2.5 miles south of Mendocino town. Great family-style breakfasts with baked-right-there-in-the-kitchen scones, coffee cake, etc. Very helpful in getting us dinner reservations at some great local spots. Located next to a state park and just a short walk to spectacular bluffs over the Pacific. Just a great place for a couple to chill out and enjoy the beauty of Mendocino.

Great Time to Visit Mendocino
Auberge is the former Rachel’s Inn. It is lovely. Close to Mendocino, but not in it. They have a gorgeous ’private’ beach a short walk from the front door. The breakfasts abd the beds are remarkable. Very quiet, romantic. Bring a good book.

In the front hall is a telephone that has all the best restaurants listed. They are pricey but excellent. You do not need a reservation during the week!

Very clean and warm, parking was right on the side. Hiking trails to the beach at the front door.
