Lovely hotel but a long walk to the city center
The hotel is very modern with lovely rooms if you are upgraded, the smaller rooms are quite small. It is though one of the few hotels which charges for breakfast, 14 euros per person and also charges for parking which you must do as there is no legal parking nearby. I had a major problem calling the U.S. as it was impossible to get an outside line.. The staff was quite helpful with info on sights to see and were charming in general.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
I would recommend taking the city tour in Verona because it is very spread out and not easy to walk around in.

Great hotel in Verona
We only stayed one night in order to catch the opera, but it was great. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and they offer a shuttle to/from the opera for a couple of euros per person. If you decide to walk, the Arena is only 10-15 minutes away on foot. The breakfast was a big spread, but they ran out of coffee for a bit. They charged too much for internet access, but since it was only one night I didnt see it as a drawback.

Great hotel!
We were in 5 cities over a two-week period and this was by far my favorite hotel. The bathroom was awesome. If a hotel has a fantastic bathroom, thats really all I care about but it just so happens that everything else was great too. Big comfy bed with lots of closet space, etc. Very nice. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the opera which was great!
