close to old down town.
We stayed on a busy weekend for the old St. Augustine celebration of King Georges birthday. So having a convenient location and good parking was a plus. In addition the gentleman who is the proprietor was very nice and most gracious. The room was small but very clean and furnished with antiques. In St. Augustine one does not waste time watching TV or staying in doors, there is just too much to see and do. The location of the B & B is on a quiet street and withing a 5 minute walk of the fort and old town. We would go back to the Castle Gardens.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
St Augustine is beautiful any time of year, but between Thanksgiving and January 1st the city is a city of lights. Beautiful and everyone is kind and helpful.

Very friendly owners!
I choose the bed and breakfast because it was cheaper than any of the area hotels. The owners were very friendly. We had plans earlier than the scheduled breakfast time and they provided cereal and coffee anyway. EASY walk to St. George’s street from the city gates. I plan to go back soon.

Plan on making reservations early at major restaurants in St. Augustine or die of starvation waiting over an hour for a table!
