clean with kitchenettes
We were pleasantly surprised at the new clean rooms. With the kitchenettes, and location - the train and bus station, market, castle, park, and town only two blocks away, this is an excellent choice. Trundle beds on the firm side.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The tourist info office is next to the castle. They gave us a free map of bike trails to four nearby castles. We rented great bikes for 12 euros a day, and followed signs to Chambord castle, about an hour and a half. Trails marked pretty well, mostly off road through vineyards. One of the highlights of our trip!
