Perfect for our trip
We took a quick trip to San Diego...Sea World one day and the Zoo the next. This hotel was a perfect location for both and felt safe. I have to say the rooms were really tiny...I wouldnt reccommend them if you were going to spend a great deal of time at the hotel. Breakfast was very convenient.

This is the 3 time we stay, and still happy
For that price we are very happy. My wife like the breakfast too so everyone could wake up at different time and go down then eat. 10-15 minutes drive to places we wanted to go (mainly SeaWorld & beaches). We plan on staying in this hotel again next year for our SD trip. The only thing we didnt expect was they started to charge $7/vehicle/night for parking, but I am ok with it.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Try that Japanese buffet across the street at the mall. Good sushi.

Not impressed with the suite
Our two room suite must have been one room that they "threw up" a wall in. The air conditioner didnt reach the "bedroom" when the french doors were shut. There was only a fan wedged into the wall between rooms. (and it was very loud...you couldnt hear the tv when it was on) There was not enough walking space in the bedroom, nor the additional room once the couch was pulled out and we had no place to store the coffee table other than on its side in the bedroom walkway. Way too squishy...and by no means a "COMFORT" suite!
The rooms are probably fine alone, but I dont recommend the suites for more than 2 people. Close to freeway and Sea World, restaurants, etc. making it easy to get around town.
