Really old building
We were told by the owner that the building is 600 yrs old. It is fun, clean, and in a great little town not far from the airport. We chose it as an "airport" hotel assuming it wouldnt cost too much for a morning cab ride to the airport. Way wrong. it was about $40 for 5 kilomters. Dont use this as an airport hotel, get closer to the airport. Highway robbery! Cabs fault, not the hotels. But it is a cute town & a hotel w/ character and history.

Great for what we needed
We stayed here at the end of our 10 day trip throughout Italy. It was closest hotel we could find to airport that had availabilty. The town is very small so dont expect to do much but it was quaint and nice. Had great gelato and two of best meals on trip. By far the biggest rooms on our entire trip. Loved the decor and the nearby castle. A church right next door was small and beautiful. Sugggest it for a fun place to stay for to/from airport.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Make sure you arrange the car to the airport through the hotel -- no taxis come there and if they do, very expensive as they charge to come out that far. Was $20 a person to airport and worth it.

Wonderful Hotel and Staff
We booked the country rooms and did not realize you needed a car to get to them. The hotel manager went ahead and let us stay in the apartments that are right across the street from the ruins without charging us more for the rooms. Also all the staff was very friend and the rooms where very unique. We leave before breakfast, so they also made us a little basket of goodies that we could take. If you travel in the hot summer (End of May to Mid Sept), note that they dont have a/c and have mosquitoes. For Oct. it was fine sleeping with windows open and letting the breeze cool the room, some rooms did have fans (ours didnt and we slept fine). I would stay there again, only 10mins from the airport by car too.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Very small town, locals are nice and feels more like home. The Ostia ruins are walking distance from the hotel grounds.
