In any language, they were accommodating
We stayed in Biel while visiting Berne and the surrounding area. We found the hotel to be clean and well run. The staff, especially the front desk staff, were amazing. They usually spoke at least 4 languages, German, English, and French,and Swiss German. The staff responded to our questions, and helped us with information by going above and beyond our expectations. We would recommend this hotel to other travelers. The train station is in walking distance, the town square and the historic old town are both in walking distance. We had a delightful New Year’s Eve here.
Traveler's tip on dining
Lots of small, boutique style restaurants in the Old Town section. We had a wonderful dinner at "La Boheme", which was operated by one woman. It was like eating a home cooked meal.
