More Bang for Your Buck
I have left an extensive review on tripadvisor.com. However this short review should be enough to give you the highlights. Front Desk- outstanding service and ready to assist you in any way- Check in was perfectly easy, and they were expecting me. Room- I stayed in Rm 316- it was huge for one traveler. Cozy bed and decent bathroom. Restaurants- I ate at both and they were fantastic. The Brauhaus has outstanding schnitzel and red wine. For a pub like experience go to Bostons- watch cricket and futbol while having a nice guinness! The fish and chips was fantastic. 5th floor- Gym and Pool- both were very nice amenities to have available. Also, you can eat in the dining area. I had a wonderful breakfast. You can have food and drinks served to you at the pool as well. Internet can be pricey. All in all, everything was fantastic and the location is perfect if you want to be near the beach but not pay for ocean side prices. FYI- there is ongoing construction but its for the betterment of customer’s amenities.
Traveler's tip on shopping
If you want to conserve money on food, about 2 blocks down the road there is a nice grocery store with low prices on ready made food and normal grocery items. It’s in the Filipino area. The location as I have walked to it. Go down to the Iranian hospital and turn left. The hospital is on Al Wasl Rd.

Great Hotel / Bad Location
I would not recommend this hotel for anyone on a leisure trip. For anyone on a business trip, I would strongly recommend. There is no need to leave the hotel because it has all the commodities you would need. This was a great hotel, but I was very unhappy with the location. It was in between buildings and as close as we were to the beach, you could not see anything.

Comfortable & Convenient in Dubai
Jumeira Rotana Hotel in Dubai earns its 4-stars. The service is gracious and efficient, and accommodations are spacious, clean and up to date. The hotel is located within walking distance of shopping, dining, Jumeira Mosque, and Jumeira Public Beach. The omnipresent and ever helpful bellmen ensured only Dubai city approved taxis or hotel cars were available to us as needed, and the staff was ready and able to recommend and book outings and sightseeing.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Shopping ’souks’ are open late in the cooler (80 deg F) evening hours until around 11:00 PM. Arriving at Dubai airport at 10:30 PM seemed late to us, but we learned it is commonplace to dine well after midnight at locations near the hotel.
