Multiple problems
Clerk at front desk was rude and unhelpful, which was odd because I stayed here one other time recently and the front desk staff was great. The bathroom ceiling dripped water. Disgusting!

OK for a night
The hotel is located in a shopping/dining area, so it was easy to find places to go. It’s also very accessible to UW-Eau Claire. There was a large group of unsupervised children in the hotel the night we stayed which kept us out of the pool and other public areas. The weekend breakfast doesn’t begin until 7 AM, which was not publicized except when we asked. If you need to get on the road early, you’ll have to go to one of the nearby fast food places.

hotel in renovation
We stayed in older rooms - worn fixtures, etc., but clean & bed was comfortable. Bed coverings were fine. The kindness and friendliness of the staff more than made up for the lack of "newness" and the price was great.
