A Small Town Treasure You Might Miss
Staying at Prince Solms Inn B&B in New Baunfels was a wonderful suprise in a small town of Texas. Close to both Austin, San Antonio, and the outlet in San Marcos. The B&B was very lovely, quiet, and you could tell had lots of history. The owner Dale, was especially nice along with his staff. I normally would not go to New Braunfels for a vacation, but if I ever go to the three cities mentioned above, I would spend a night or two at the B&B. The piano bar downstairs is a lot of fun and you don’t have to even leave the B&B to have some entertainment. The piano bar staff was wonderful and took care of all of our needs including suggestions of places to eat, places to go, and etc. The free breafast included with the price was a special treat. The food did not arrive at your table until you did. Schlitterbahn is just across the bridge form the B&B.
Traveler's tip on dining
Go to the Grist Mill and Grist Hall in Gruene for an evening of fun, food, and music. Be sure to take a tour of the shops as well
