nice retreat
Surprisingly pleasant place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The hotel property is large enough to take a leisurely stroll, sit outside at the pool or outside and have a drink and relax. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Hire a taxi for each day to take you to places and wait while you visit different sites. See Durbar Square in downtown Kathmandu, and visit Bhaktapur and Patan (Lalitpur), and squeeze in an hour-long flight on Buddha Air to see the Himalayas and Mt. Everest.

A bright spot in Kathmandu
fantastic, this was our second stay at the Crown in Kathmandu, so I will echo my original comment. I truly believe that this is an Oasis in the city of Kathmandu. I would recommend this hotel whole-heartedly.
