Great Little Place
The Innkeepers were wonderful - Roger and Chris did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The Breakfasts were great - in fact everything was near perfect (I only rate things the highest if they are truly the greatest ever - no flaws at all). Anything wrong here was so minor, I cant think of anything. It was a true B&B experience with nice fellow guests and a delightful 19th century look to the place, complete with Chris and Rogers family photos. Would go back there in a second if were ever in the area again. Stay there!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Not much in Whitefield NH but it is close to all the natural wonders including Mt Washington and the Flume.

Unbelieveable find
We consider ourselves lucky to have found this place. It was a beautifully restored late 19th century house a little off the beaten path in New Hampshire. The hosts were very cordial and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable in their house. We arrived a little later than we planned, but they didnt seem to mind and offered us a glass of wine and spent quite a bit of time conversing with us about the house and the restoration as well as sights to see in the Whitefield area. The breakfast was great the next morning and there was so much food, we skipped lunch that day. We are looking forward to a return trip next fall.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Be sure to check out the Kancamagus Highway about a 30 minute drive from Whitefield. It lived up to its billing as the most beautiful drive in New Hampshire.

The Lion & the Rose B&B
The Lion & the Rose is a wonderful place to stay in a lovely New England town. The hosts/owners are very friendly and helpful. The remodeling and decor of the very old house is quite nice, and the breakfast was delicious. Having just arrived from hot, south Texas, it was wonderful to be in such a cool, inviting place.
