Beautiful view, not kid friendly
The Sunset Inn is surrounded by breath taking views of the White Mountains. It offers both fine dining and a tavern. The cozy traditional room was nice and simple with two twin beds, a dresser, a small bathroom with shower, and a small closet. There is a small pool in the back and many Adirondack chairs for mountain viewing. The included breakfast was lovely and the views from the dining room are spectacular.
The tavern does not cater to children (in this case an 11 year old boy), which is inconvenient. The tavern keeper said he was not refusing to serve us, but told us we should go downtown to eat. We ended up finding a tavern down the road that was glad to serve anyone.
