A wonderful place to stay in Kilmarnock
I’ve stayed at the Park Hotel many times, since I am a fan of the Kilmarnock Football Club and the hotel is actually located in the grounds of the club. Even so, this is a fine hotel in its own right, with spacious and comfortable rooms, very good food, excellent and friendly staff -- an all-round great place to stay. Highly recommended.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
If you go to the Park Hotel, try to arrange your stay so you can take in a football game. The atmosphere is great, the young team is well worth watching, the pies are nationally known to be the best. Kilmarnock Football Club is the oldest club in Scotland and though it’s not the biggest in the country the team offers very entertaining football -- lots of fun!
