Great Value in Mid-Town Manhattan

The hotel is well maintained. Sam the concierge was very helpful and was able to get us tickets at the last minute to "God of Carnage." Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a little over priced but he food was good.

Every Aspect was Great! Will Definitely Be going back!

We were very unsure about staying here for we have never heard of it before. My daughter and i are rather fussy and both of us had a wonderful stay at the Tudor Hotel! We will definitely be going back again. I would recommend to anyone who is going there for leisure or business. A very nice environment with very helpful staff. Our room was supposed to be a traditional room but we somehow got upgraded and got the second nicest room in the hotel! There is no other to describe it but great! Very nice bathroom, television, terrace and room layout(great size) Visit Again Soon!

Definitely Check out Broadway. Mary Poppins is one of my favorites. Also Chinatown, Soho, and Brooklyn

Gem on the east side

The Tudor Hotel was a great find for my daughters and I. We had luxury, privacy and a central location. We will be back for sure.

We’ll go back

The room was comfortable and tidy, but it had an odd, stale odor. The carpet below the ceiling air conditioning vent was wet from condensation dripping on it. After one night, we asked to be moved to another room, and the friendly, attentive staff took care of everything including moving our luggage to our new room while we were out for the day.

Great quality in a compact package

The Tudor Hotel is one of NYC’s gems, on the East Side between Grand Central Station and the United Nations. I highly recommend the Tudor for business or leisure travelers: it has updated service; helpful, professional staff; tastefully designed quality decor. In short, it has small hotel personal touch with big hotel amenities.

Outstanding NY hotel

This hotel is amazing - great location, close but not too close so quiet surroundings. Great access to Union station and subway. Luxurious and spacious rooms. The only complaint was every night when we returned we had to request a second towel and wash cloths that were not left when our room was cleaned. But the front desk quickly sent them.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We used Expeida Concierge service for NY and it was a great resource. We got good priced theatre tickets and all other touring arrangements made before we arrived in the city which made our short trip efficient.

Great Stay, great location

Very convenient to GCS. Clean rooms, newly refurbished. Great bathroom for a NYC hotel. Has a restaurant - OK breakfast buffet but overpriced. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel

We stayed in the front section of the hotel that appeared to be recently renovated as advertised. The corner room was nicely appointed and very quiet due to the addition of double windows. We had moderate expectations for what we would get and were pleasantly surprised by the accomodations and the service that fully exceeded our expectations. We liked the quieter location but convenience being only a couple blocks to Grand Central Station and a 20-30 min easy walk to Times Square, Central Park, or Madison Square Garden.

ok with it

The hotel was clean but we had to call down one day for wash rags, another for towels, the bathroom heater needed fixing. and the room phone didn’t work so we had to go to the lobby to get things done.

no towels on the second day and we waited over three hours for them to deliver clean towels.

I would definitely go back and stay.

Upon checking in, the staff was most courteous and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable.

Excellent value, great location.

good value for NYC; clean, quiet and safe

Good hotel in a nice location, close to Grand Central Sta and yet in a quiet neighborhood. Modern, clean room, with good air conditioning. Friendly staff. Only downside: no place to store a bicycle when I arrived and room was not yet ready (only a small luggage room where bell staff were willing to hold small luggage).

Loved the Intimacy

We enjoyed having the sitting room in addition to the bedroom. The bath room was huge with a jacuzzi and a bidet. Our room was on the corner so we had several great views including a view of the river.

Good for the price

The location and professional service at the Tudor makes it a good choice for short stays in NYC. The hotel is in need of refurbishing, but the facilities were clean and seemed to be maintained well.

Omido The best little secret in NYC. Japanese sushi and cuisine is unmatched. Good Saki too. Location: Broadway between 53rd and 54th. First door to the left of ’The Late Show, with Dave Letterman’.

The hotel was conveniently located for general access to Manhattan sites. The common areas and guest room were clean and well maintained. Our room appeared to be recently renovated and was neat and efficient. Overall, we were satisfied with the accomomdations.
