A B&B needs at least one of three things to be memorable, to draw people back - wonderful room, wonderful food, or wonderful hosts. Unfortunately, Farrallone didn’t offer any of these.

Very Pleased with ALL aspects of our experience.
For the price in the area, the accommodations were extraordinary. We were impressed with the staff, the conditions of and appointments in our room, and the grounds were perfect. We will be back, even during the winter season, and will encourage our travelling friends to visit this wonderful hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
Nice Indian cuisine in the restaurant next door, and the Distillery is close by for formal dining.

Our initial experience with hotel was not good - they did not have record of our reservation of 2 nights. After showing our confirmation they offered us 1 night as that was all that they had available. After we objected and said that we’d have to go elsewhere they were able to give us a room for 2 nights. The room/hotel was clean but it shows a lot of wear & tear. For 1-2 nights the bed was OK, but wouldn’t have been happy sleeping a 3rd night in the bed that sunk in the middle. We didn’t want to stay in a chain hotel/motel so that’s why we chose this place & the price was comparable to the chains. However after spending some time in the area, I would not hesitate to stay in a chain hotel/motel for the same or better price.
