Ants in the Bedroom
The only good thing about this hotel was the staff. They were friendly and seemed concerned. Other than that, there isn’t much to say. The rooms and decor were outdated. The continental breakfast was less than expected and the coffee was gross. In the morning when my children woke up, there were ants crawling on their bedside table and a few even in their bed. When staff was notified, all we got was an apology. The two room suite was not that at all, it was just two adjoining rooms. We will NEVER stay there again!

This may be Missouri’s best-kept secret
This hotel is quiet (very), clean and well-kept. The staff are lovely people, and although they don’t offer a hot breakfast, what they do have is a greater variety than you usually see. As its name implies, it’s nothing spectacular. But it is very sweet. There’s a little waterfall in the lobby (and a popcorn machine) and the Bible isn’t tucked in a drawer...it’s open on the bureau, with a highlighted verse that offers comfort to travelers. If I had to describe my stay in one word, that word would be "comforting."
