Great location, tiny room and cleanliness issues
This hotel is in a great location just steps from Whistler Village. We had a studio room which I expected to be small but not this small. The website said we would have a kitchenette and table for eating but I didnt expect it to be at the very foot of the bed, which it was. You couldnt even sit at the table and watch TV because there was no room to do so. It was also not kept up very well - there was a pile of dirty laundry in the hallway by our room the second night we were there and it stayed there for the following two days and was still there when we left, as well as a bag of trash. The pool area was nice and had a great view of the mountain but the hot tub was too hot to even sit in. Overall I think if you got a 1- or 2-br this place would be better but I dont recommend the studio!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Having the kitchenette was great and we cooked dinner in the room two nights. It was fully stocked with dishes, silverware, and even pans to cook with. There was a mini fridge so you cant bring many groceries and only a small area for frozen stuff. The room didnt have an oven but the stove worked great. We walked along the Valley Trail for hours one day out by the golf course and it was beautiful - I would highly recommend this for a nice, cheap activity.
