Good Enough
The hotels beach is really nice for swimming and sunbath. However, the pool need to be cleaned. It is a disadvantage that they close the beach and the pool at 17:00. Only few Hotel staff speak fluent English, however this is a problem for all Sicily.

Very nice stay
The hotel staff was very helpful with requests and spoke adequate English if you do not speak Italian well. The food was very good in the hotel resturant. The hotel is very accessible to public transportation which served me very well. Nice view of the water as well as Mt Etna. Overall very satisfied and would stay again.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Catania is a very busy city. For the young crowd it offers a robust night life. Walking is the best way to see things. Taxis are costly. I recommend the train for travel to other cities on Sicily. The countryside looks remote away from the cities and offers little between towns if you decide to hike into the country. Beatiful place, planning another trip already.
