Simple, Basic
As long as you are not going during a busy time of year, and can choose the room you want, this hotel makes sense. I had to look at three rooms to find one that didn’t reek of cigarette smoke (and even then you could still smell smoke). Also, I could tell the sheets hadn’t been changed - first time I ever got sheets from a front desk and remade the bed myself. With those cavaets, the hotel wasn’t bad - esp. for the price. Decent location in a nice part of Dallas (though note it is right next to a very loud freeway!). It was nice to have a kitchen. The front desk staff was helpful.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Ask the front desk for the closest supermarket, which isn’t particularly easy to find due to road construction.

It was a very fine stay
Hotel was clean and orderly. The staff was friendly. I only spent one night but was comfotable.
