Great place to view largest remnant of Roman City Walls

Rooms can be warm and noisy if on street side. Excellent quality windows do help limit sound and didn’t bother a city person. Mattresses are rock hard---thank heavens I sleep on my back. Hotel is immaculate, staff friendly and patient. Good breakfast. Quite a trek from Termini Station through a rough first section. Take public transport or taxi.

Offspring will love automated coffee, hot chocolate, espresso, cappucino machines and automated juice machines. Abundance of pastries will give them an all day surge of energy.

Good location with all transportation services just across the street

Friendly people in the reception desk, nice restaurant and quiet environment. Large lobby area and very well decorated. Please install a hook for the hand shower at the tub and curtain. Overall very nice and good hotel

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Perfect location to take metro, tram and buses for visit the rest of Rome, we save a lot of $$ in taxis, they are very expensive.

Too small and too far

this hotel is on the outskirts of Rome. Everything is a long walk or an expensive taxi ride away. the shower was incredibly small. the room was pretty small, it got the job done but still, after a long day in a very busy and site studded city, you want to be comfortable, not cramped.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

by almost every attraction is a huge line to get in. avoid the line by saying "YES" to people asking if you want a guided tour of the attraction. Tours skip lines and get right in, and you are probably going to spend only 10 EURO extra to skip an enormous line. Well worth the money!

Pass this one by!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend, and we didn’t enjoy our stay AT ALL!! First, the positives: The hotel staff can give you pamphlets and help you book tours and provide you with a map of Rome. And the hotel bar is cozy...that’s it. Now the negatives: The room had long, noticeable cracks all along the walls, and the walls are SO thin, you can hear conversations from outside and from the hallway at all hours of the night, as if other people were right there in your room (we were on the 3rd floor). The bathroom was EXTREMELY small and cramped(especially the shower), there was excessive amounts of mold in the shower. I’m 5’7/120lbs (which is pretty small), and I couldn’t move in the shower without brushing against the shower walls. I don’t think bathroom floor was cleaned the whole time I was there. This hotel needs MAJOR renovation! They still use actually keys for your hotel room door, and not the electronic card keys that the majority of hotels use nowadays. The location isn’t TOO bad, but I’d NEVER stay here again!!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Stay away from the men in front of the Colosseum, dressed up in the Old Roman garb! They’ll offer to take pictures with you, use YOUR camera to take the pictures, then they’ll charge you 10 Euro! LOL

Beware of the bathroom smell

This hotel is definitely not three star as it claims to be. The restaurant in the hotel is terrible, the service is not great, and the accommodations are sub-par. We had two rooms in this hotel. The first had a terrible sewer smell coming from a hole in the bathroom. We were then moved to a different room and the smell stopped. All the towels smell terrible as if they wash them or hang them to dry around the same kind of sewer smell. The doors are also very thin so you can hear every single noise that is made in the hallway. We were regularly woken up around 7am by other guests walking and talking in the hallway. In addition, the housekeeping tried entering our room to clean it at 8am without even knocking. The location of the hotel is not ideal. Its far away from the main center of the city, which makes going back to the hotel during the day an ordeal. It is close to trolleys and buses that go to the main Termini Station. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
