Great Place - Excellent Service - Close to Everything
We were very happy with our stay. Hint. Take a water taxi to your hotel & they drop you off right at entrance on patio which overlooks the Grand Canal. Close to everything from this hotel. Excellent service.

Great Place
Great hotel, 100% and more on all services, maintanace and comfort. The only problem is extremley high prices for room internet use($12 for 45 Minutes!!), Charged by a local contractor of the hotel.

Location, location, location
This Hotel is very charming. The one thing that stands out is the service. From the Bellman who rescued us at the curb from our nasty cab driver to the Concierge who was always so helpful and the housekeeper who refused to accept a tip...this Hotel really knows service. The location is excellent. We bought te Barcelona Metro Card but hardly used it. You can walk to La Sagrada Familia in 30 minutes. You can even walk to the beach in under one hour. We did an urban hike to the beach through Las Ramblas and included shopping and lunch in between. One word about the bus drivers and cab drivers: They are horrible. But coming back "home" to our charming Hotel every night made everything better. Ah! I miss my Bourbon and Coca-Cola at the Scotch Bar already!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Consider Urban hikes through the neighborhoods: Eixample, Barri Gotic, Las Ramblas. We did two every day with a break in between where we enjoyed the hotel facilities: Sauna, Bar or just layed around in our bathrobes.
