mediocre service
Hotel itself was ok, but when we arrived, we had to wait for about 10 min. for a desk clerk to show up. Our room wasn’t ready, and we had to wait about an hour. In the restaurant, the server brought a different, and more expensive, bottle of wine than we ordered, which wasn’t apparent until the bill arrived. Overall, hotel staff seemed rather indifferent.

Wonderful!
If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing hotel this is an excellent choice. Parking out front was easy, check in was quick and my room was very clean. Having only a partial view, it was still spectacular. The room was wonderful, with the bathtub being a highlight. I was disappointed the shower was a bit on the small side but still great. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. All the extras- DVD player, cd player, fireplace, etc. were wonderful. It really made my stay that much more enjoyable. I was never disturbed by a train either.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Definitely make time to take a walk on the boardwalk as the views are amazing! Also, checkout the Fairhaven area. There are some excellent shops and restaurants. The area is very charming.

A delightful place
This is a delightful place. The room is beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. The view was incredible. Because we arrived very late, we had no idea how spectacular it would be until that next morning. Breathtaking each time you see it. We will definitely return.
