Older...But Nice and Clean
The building itself was old but at least the hotel was done in a period style that matched when it was constructed and it did have that "Victorian beach house" charm. The location was great, a short drive or walk to the beach area and other major attractions (like Stonehenge) were close by as well. The room was clean and ours, a family room for four, was a pretty decent size. We have been pretty surprised by how expensive and unkempt some hotels in Europe have been but this hotel was actually quite nice, all things considered. The hotel also had a great free buffet-style breakfast which was a nice way to start the day. Overall, we didn’t spend much time in the room but it served as a lovely place in which to sleep at night.
