Best hotel in Patong
It was absolutely amazing! Check in and check out was quick and no problems at all. The Banburee restaurant had really nice food and the service was great, room service as well. The pools are well maintained around the property. The location is also great.The other hotels in Patong weren’t in good locations,I was really happy that I chose Duangjitt. It was relaxing and very enjoyable.
Traveler's tip on shopping
The vendors really harrass you a lot to buy their items so it’s best to just look ahead unless you really want to buy something. You can also bargain with them.

Nice resort in a sleazy area
The D resort (too hard to spell) is a very big, very nice resort in sleazy Patong. I was surprised with how many families were there considering that Patong is, well, Patong. But the resort itself is very nice and the pool is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen. The food at the hotel was good and the staff went out of their way to arrange things such as having a moped dropped off and picked up for me at the hotel. My only complaint is that they definitely ’nickel and dime’ you on certain things such as charging $15 for replacement of your electronic key. There are also unneccessary hassles required to do things like get a beach towel (have to sign in and out) and go to the resort gym (get a gym pass).

The D Resort is about a 10 minute walk from the main bar strip called Bangla Road, which is a good thing in that it’s not as loud and crowded as some other areas

Honeymoon Vacation
This was a good experience. However the English channels are limited and it was very hard to understand other languages. The walking distance was good for the beach and we liked the bathroom. Thank you!!
