Valencia Hotel Neptuno
This was a great hotel right on the beach. The experience was very authentic, i.e. it was not a touristy place constructed just for Americans or other Eurpoeans. I think it is geared for Spanish wanting to go on holiday. Note: There were topless women on the beach.....

Decent Value -- Small room size
If you enjoy the beach this is almost the only hotel on the beach. The rooms are rather small (even for European standards), however the bathroom is an adequate size and the hotel has all of the amenities of a 3.5 - 4 star hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
Be careful at some of the beachfront resturants as they prey on non spanish speaking tourist and over charge (some will place bread at your table and charge 7 euro if you eat it!).

Outstanding Place!
Great hotel, ideal location if you want to be near the beach. Not difficult to get to the City of Arts and Sciences and the old city from the beach.
