Highly recommended
If you choose this place, you will feel among friends. If you like to walk, in 20 minutes you will be in many points of interest in the city; if you do not like to walk, donīt worry because there is a subway station next to the hotel that with one single ticket takes you to Notre Dame (from there you just have to walk 10 minutes to be at Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Musee de Orsay and more) and with some simple connections, can get all the city in minutes. At the front desk ask them how to get the place you want to visit and someone in your language (or in english at least) will mark in a map the best route to get them. Soft beds, soft pillows, clean clean clean, free internet and good complimentaries make from Lenox a really nice place to stay in Paris. The only sin: breakfast in this hotel was not as good as we expected for itīs price.
Paris is full of gipsy girls with a letter in hand acting a drama to get some money from you. Reject them and donīt feel bad about them. Either way, there are a lot of african guys trying to sell bracelets but be carefull that they do not see where you have your money, we are pretty sure that they have a connection wit the pick-pockets.

Crisp, clean sheets every day!! Great staff!!
I thought the location was excellent! Not too close to the super-touristy zonees but easy enough to access anything through a quick metro ride or walk. There are two metro entrances just steps away! Very nice and quiet for sleeping late at night...plenty going on until then. Excellent cheese shop, bakery and wine places right across the street and even a small grocery store a couple doors down for other items. I would definitely come back. I like smaller, "boutique-y" type places that arent mobbed with tourists. This was perfect!!!

great location and accomodations
I think the name of this review sums it up. The Lennox is located right in the middle of where you want to be in Paris. There are Metro stations at either end of the street and the hotel is only a couple of stops from both the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. The staff was very helpful and ready to offer both directions and touring suggestions. The room was comfortable and faced a very quiet street. We were within walking distance of about 20 restaurants, some of the best in the city. Couldnt recommend it more.

First time in Paris
Excellent property, clean and well maintained. The Front Desk employees were knowledgable and gave great directions. The continental breakfast was good, and area clean and well maintained. The help kept the area clean and inviting. The rooms are small but clean and bright. The location is excellent, easy access to rail and trains. The employees and management were 4 Star. We had a great stay and would stay again.

Second time around is even better
Loved, loved, loved this hotel. I stayed in the same hotel 25 years ago and was impressed then as a fresh out of college student. Now with the recent renovations it was even better than before, what with the free Wi-Fi and free internet in-room, what is not to like. The location is just perfect and within waking distance to many metro stations and the Montparnasse Gare (train station). The rooms are small but lovely and tastefully decorated. Even my hard-to-impress spouse was thrilled with the oh so comfortable bed and nice sized bath with even a bathtub. Great for soaking the body after a long day of sightseeing and walking the boulevards of Paris. Cheers to the very freindly and helpful staff. They all get a five-star rating as far as Im concerned! Paris Je tai aime, Merci Expedia.com!!!
Make sure to visit the grocery store a few doors down for budget conscience food shopping. The restuarants in the area are very pricy what with the dollar exchange as it is today.

Great Hotel
Very impressed with the hotel and the service was outstanding, plan to go back in the very near future. The hotel representative for amicable and extremely thoughtful and providing direction as well as suggestion to places to visit and to dine. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
If I could do this trip over I would have learned some basic french which would have been beneficial when reading menu.

Excellent hotel with great access to all tourist sites
I researched places to stay in Paris for weeks before I finally chose this hotel. This is a wonderful hotel that has everything you need. We booked a classic room, but were upgraded to a deluxe room for free. The rooms are small, but not uncomfortably small. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are a good size. There is enough room to store luggage. Free safe in room, free Wi-Fi in lobby, and free access to internet on the TV in your room (great feature). Free afternoon coffee and tea and an honesty bar in the lobby. The staff was wonderful and SO helpful. They all spoke English which was great because we spoke no French. You will have to take the metro to get most places from here. However, it is located with 1-2 blocks of 2 major metro lines (purple and green). We will stay here again when we return and would recommend this to all our friends and family.

Great value
It was our first time in Paris. Luckly, we got a free up-grade for our room! The room and amenities were nice. Hotel employees were friendly and easy to communicate in English. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area. The little cheese shop across the street from the hotel was right next to a wine shop and It was great! Very close to metro station and super convenient location!

Good value, Great location, the best staff
The room was small but clean with good amenities and we had french doors that opened to a little balcony. Staff was so helpful and friendly. The honesty bar was a nice treat in the afternoon for some free coffee. Did not eat the breakfast as there were some many places near bite for a quick bite. Hotel is located close to 3 metro lines, so travel was a breeze. Would definately recommend and stay again.. although I might upgrade to a larger room
Traveler's tip on dining
If you turn left or right out of the Hotel there are a ton of restaurants in either direction. I can recommend La Petite Rotunde, Relais dEntrecote, La Dome and all the Boulangeries in the area.

Honey moon
I spend 5 wonderful days in Paris with my lovely new wife. Even if we didnt spend too much time in the hotel, when we were there everything was almost perfect: very nice and worm staff, room was very clean, all bathroom utilities looked like they were new. The room is not big but it was enough for our needs. Also the hotel is close to some very nice restaurants and 2 metro stations (Vavin and Montparnasse bienvenue). I will definitely return to this hotel and I recommend it.

Friendly staff, imaculately clean.
This was our first trip to Paris. Hotel staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and all spoke fluent English. They appreciated our trying to speak French, but were more than happy to communicate in English. The room was spotless and maintained that standard throughout our week. Small safe and refrig in the room. Temp control was very good and the window opened to a small balcony with cool view of the street. Plenty of good restaurants at all price points in the area and around the corner access to the Metro. Take the Metro for the "big" sites to see. Its cheap and easy to understand. Lots of great sites within walking distance - our favotite in all of Paris was the Jardin du Luxembourg. Local flavor and very relaxing. The hotel free afternoon tea and coffee plus a fully stocked "honesty" bar thats quite nice. Great experience. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when back to Paris.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a grocery store 1 block to the right if you get tired of paying Paris restaurant prices. There is also a good Asian food take out 2 blocks to the left if you are looking for a meal between Paris restaurant prices and fast food.

Paris is so crowded and dirty, this was a refreshing place to stay. Staff was nice and helped us foreigners out with how to get places. Recommended places to eat. Overall it was wonderful, clean room, bathroom. Would stay here again.

Small rooms, but nice hotel in good location
Nice elegant breakfast rooms. But for some reason, no eggs on Mondays or Tuesdays (in August?). The WiFi was termperamental. Nice service, pleasant staff.
Traveler's tip on dining
A whole clump of crepe restaurants on a side street just a block away

great value. great location
The Montparnasse is located in a small (but not quiet!)street that joins two fantastic corners for street life. Two metro stops are each a block away. Theres a supermarket on the same street. The room was larger than most 3 star Paris hotels (though the floor plan indicates that rooms ending in 3 and 6 are roomier; we were in 23. Excellent desk clerks with excellent English. The price -- noted as an Expedia discount -- was very reasonable.

Would definitely recommend this hotel
We were very happy with our selection of a hotel to stay at in Paris. It was close the two tubes which made getting around Paris very easy. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we were so happy that they spoke English. The beds were comfortable and it was really nice to be able to have free internet in our room. If I were ever to go back to Paris on a vacation I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

Best Hotel in Paris
The hotel was great. The front desk staff was especially helpful. They called into Chartes for us and looked up offbeat stores. Their English was great. We were so happy with the front desk staff, we left them flowers for making our stay so beautiful. The hotel is also in a nice safe section of the city. The block has a supermarket and metro stations on each end. It is within walking distance to the train station.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
It was worth taking the train to Chartes to see the medieval cathedral. And do take the tour with the English gentleman.

Great stay at Lenox Montparnasse Hotel
Charming small hotel in the beautiful Montpanasse area of Paris. The staff spoke very good English and was always willing to help with directions, suggestions, etc.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Loved the view from the top of Tour Paris. A lot less people/tourist than at the Eiffel Tower. The view of the city is amazing. I would especially recommend going in the evening and watching the Eiffel Tower light show from the roof of Tour Paris.

Excellent Service, Nice Neighborhood
Friendly service, nice decor, and excellent restaurant recommendations. We were upgraded to a larger room which we found very comfortable and stylish for a Paris hotel. Its located in a great neighborhood with lots of small restaurants, convenient metro options, and short walk to the Luxembourg Gardens.
Traveler's tip on dining
Restaurant Le Cerisaie near Montparnasse makes the best cochon noir Ive ever had.

Clean and cozy, great location, wonderful staff
We were very happy with the service and accomodations at the Lenox Montparnasse Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful (and also spoke English which was beneficial due to our inadequate French language skills). The room, although small in size, was very clean and tastefully decorated with a wonderfully comfortable bed. The bathroom was very spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. We appreciated having a computer with internet access readily available in the lobby. The hotel location couldnt have been better as it was on a quiet street but mere steps away from busy Montparnasse Boulevard. There was plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby along with several convenient Metro/RER stations. We were absolutely delighted with our visit and cant wait to return to Paris someday. We will definitely stay at the Lenox Montparnasse Hotel again.
Traveler's tip on dining
To enjoy some of the famous Parisian sidewalk cafe culture, stop by Le Select on Montparnasse Boulevard which is right around the corner from the hotel. They have a good wine selection and a great location. For the best food in all of Paris, head down the street to Restaurant Parnasse 138. There is an extensive menu and daily specials along with a very friendly and helpful staff. We dined there several times during our visit and sampled many different items, all of which were delicious.

Excellent Location
This is a very nice place. The people are extremely nice and very helpful. If you have any questions they got all the answers. Most importantly is the location is so close to the metro and metro in Paris takes you everywhere you want to go as a tourist. Ill recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to have that Paris feeling. Most of the restaurants speak English.
Traveler's tip on dining
Ill recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to have that Paris feeling. Most of the restaurants speak English. Just watch out on the breakfast we paid 17 euro per person a day. At the end it came up like 250 US dollars for couple of rolls and nutela.

More than I expected
The hotel is located very near to a metro station (Vavin, M4 train) and to many fine places to eat. It is located on a very charming side street that is very quiet. We like coffee very much and the hotel does not offer it in the room. I suggest to all who like coffee in the morning...bring your own setup. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious enough for two. There is free WiFi and with my personal computer I was a happy lad. It is no surprise that the European elevator is a cramped affair for two and accompanied luggage. I would recommend this hotel very much and next trip I take to Paris will include Lenox.
Traveler's tip
If you have bought services, such as metro passes from Expedia, you have to go to the Hard Rock Cafe (Blvd Poissonniere) located northside of the Seine River to obtain the paperwork. So, before leaving home, check your paperwork to locate the Hard Rock via google.

I will return
This fantastic little hotel in wonderfully situated in the 14eme arrondissement - outside of the tourist-trap clutches of Paris. With no less than 3 Metro stations in close proximity, travelling throughout the city from this location is easy. The Montparnasse area of Paris offers a refuge to those of us to whom Paris is not a new experience, as well as first-timers. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Yes, the rooms are small but comfortable - which should be no surprise to those familiar with a European hotel, and besides, you shouldnt be spending so much time in the room when there is a such wonderful city to explore. Addtionally, Paris second tallest landmark (Tour de Montparnasse) offers an easy guide to the area for walkers. I recommend this hotel, and will stay there again on all future visits.
Traveler's tip
Please be sure to check the dozen or so boulangeries and patisseries within walking distance of the hotel. The different varieties of breads and pastries offered are wonderful!
