Not very organized
When we arrived at the hotel, they gave us a room key and when we went up to the room there were already guests in the room, so we went back down to the desk and requested another room. They claimed that they only had one room available and that it was a smoking room. We reserved a non-smoking room. They gave us a key to the smoking room and when we got to it, the lock on the door did not work. So, we went back down and requested another room and they said they did not have any other room. Eventually, they "came up" with another room for us. This was a very frustrating experience to have to go through at Midnight with kids.

Excellent place to stay on a Cedar Point Overnight!!!!
Hotel is literally right outside Cedar Point. I was worried about all of the negative reviews, but chanced it regardless and I am very happy I did. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Excellent if spending the night after Cedar Point. Easy to find right off of Route 6 literally a couple miles straight outside Cedar Point. Price isn’t too bad, and definately enjoyed my stay!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The Howard Johnsons Express is at the entrance to Cedar Point and there are restraunts conveniently located actuall within walking distance but the star rating is below three (3) and with good reason!
