Ok, Not great

When we checked in, the person at the desk was not friendly. We had to slam the door to get it to lock and the bathroom toilet had issues flushing. Don’t waste your time going to the continental breakfast...it was so not worth it. It was close to the highways and disney parks as well as universal.

Good deal

The hotel has a good location and it is a good choice to those looking for something simple and clean. I would recommend it.

wouldn’t recommend but okay for one night

okay, reception staff not that friendly. Room was clean but there was an awful smell in it, not foul but a smell that was just not that great. Change air freshener please or do some special cleaning.. neighbourhood didn’t seem that great and I did not feel that safe...

Best bang for the buck

my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, as it was bargain-priced and we weren’t expecting much. Clean, comfortable (especially the bed), and a hot breakfast buffet every morning. Would recommend to everyone.

Very close to all amusement parks, and not near any major highways. Very convenient.

I’ll us them again

I was impressed with the reception when we walked in and was greeted quite friendly, our room was on the second floor and faced a Saturn car lot but the cleaniness made up for the view,the only down side was the ice machine on the second floor was inopperatable, no big deal we didn’t need it. I have never stayed at a hotel with THREE nice pillows, very quiet, if the next time I am in downtown Orlando I would stay there again

Worth the Stay

The hotel was in a great location. Not to far from Universal Studios or Disney. Near the expressway and also within walking distance of the Mall of Orlando. Was a comfortable and great stay.

Great Deal

Nice hotel notheing fancey...breakfast was included (eggs, bacon, breads, cereal, OJ , Coffee....) For the price a geat deal!

Pretty close to airport 10-15 minutes, nice for the late flights...we did not use the pool, but it looked ok for the kids to cool off in.

OK for the Price

The hotel was convenient to many stores and restaurants. The rooms were small, and the pool was dirty (lots of hair floating around). The continental breakfast was good with a large variety of food. It is an ok place to stay if you need somewhere cheap.

Not impressed with Front Desk Staff

After staying 3 nights at the Inn I asked for a late check out of 1:00pm and I was told by Rachel(front desk staff)that there would be an additional charge (they were not expecting any large groups that Sunday or Monday) I spoke with Jim, the Manager, and he said the same thing, "out by Noon or there would be an additional charge" Front desk staff & manager were unfriendly to their guest.

Nice Place to stay

Questioned how the hotel was going to be upon checking as the clerk wasn’t very friendly but extremely happy with the room. Very nice for the rate and nice breakfast as well. This was unexpected as it was a hot breakfast not just muffins and cold cereal.

nice hotel, but...

Hotel was very clean and nice. Arrived at 11:00 am but wasn’t allowed to check in until after 2:00 pm. Have strong concerns about their privacy policy as they insisted on making copies of my driver’s license and credit card, even though the hotel was pre-paid! Stack of copies of other hotel residents was in clear sight on the front desk.

Okay for Overnight

This wasn’t the cleanest hotel, nor did I like the outside door layout, but the free breakfast was great! The hotel is old, but fairly clean and the pool and courtyard is extremely pleasant. Great price for overnight stay.

Quality Inn Orlando

We stayed at this hotel on the way to Miami to meet our cruise ship. The hotel seems to be in a not-so-great part of town - and seems to be very old. It was fine for our one night stay- though the beds were quite uncomfortable, but for anything longer - spend a little more money.

Room dirty

went with my husband spend a honeymoon in Orlando. The hotel is well located, near the Florida Mall shopping more. Most left the room to be desired ... The room was dirty with dead bugs in the air conditioning, smelled smoke. We tried to change my room, unable to more room available for exchange. Not indicate to my friends.

The best budget hotel in Orlando

Everything was great. The staff was helpful, the room was super clean, the sheets were fresh, the bed was perfect, the hotel was convenient to restaurants and just off the highway, could not have been any better for the money.

Sushi House at 1311 Florida Mall Ave. was great. The food, the service, the price - highly recommended and so close to the hotel.

Great Basic Stay

This is my 4th or so time staying at this hotel. It is older, but well maintained, and owners are making improvements. I like the location with the freeways to get around. Nice pool area, breakfast has improved since my last stay about 6 months ago. Basic fitness center. Nice courtyard. No business center, but the manager is helpful with needs such as checking in for flights and printing boarding passes. Convenient Avis rent a car is on location. I’ll stay again.

Manage your expectations

This hotel is not on the Florida Mall property as promoted...it is about 1 mile away. The night staff was rude and obnoxious. My toilet would not stop running when I first arrived at 12am. and the staff said that was normal. The next day the manager on duty had someone fix it. The area around the hotel is rough, so no kids please. That being said, if you want a cheap hotel for a business trip and you have a car, it will meet your need. The room was at least clean.

If you do stay at this hotel, find the Ale House about a block away. Great drink deals and descent food, but low marks for service.

Would recommend for those on a budget

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four nights while attending a wedding in Orlando the weekend of February 19 thru 22. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent. Along with the normal continental breakfast items of rolls, bagels and cereal there were scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage and biscuits and gravy each morning. Much more than I expected. The only negative thing that I can say about this hotel is that the hotel has a railroad track that runs just outside it’s parking lot on one side. For the first two nights we were awakened at 11:30 pm and again at 1:30 am by trains that passed the hotel blasting their whistles. This did not happen on the weekend but both Thursday and Friday evening this took placed. Since this is beyond the control of the hotel I do not hold it against them. The staff made out stay very enjoyable and we would definitely consider staying there again when we return to Orlando.

Not bad for a few days

From the airport you have to take a taxi or rental car to get there. If you reaaaally want to be there because of the mall, then look for another closer. From this hotel you have to take a left and walk around 10 min to actually get there, if you don’t have a car. Can’t say about security. There seem to be someone going around the hotel that looked like security, but I’m not sure. But the breakfast was the best surprise. It was breakfast buffet, not just muffins & bagels; but be there no later than 9am. Overall, for the price it was good enough.

Just what the economical doctor ordered!

This little hotel was as other reviews indicated. Not too fancy, but very clean and adequate for a small family. With the cost, it’s a great deal. The only downside I could come up with is the location’s entrance driveway. It could be difficult for a timid driver to jet in and out of onto the main road, but come on, it’s Orlando, and it’s a tourist trap.

Our overall stay at this hotel was very pleasant. It exceeded our expectations, especially based on the price. The rooms were clean and the sheets and blankets used on the beds were of very nice quality. The pool area surrounded by ponds was pretty. The free breakfast offered every morning was great - there was much variety to choose from, and an attendant was always present to refill the food/drinks and to keep the area clean. The staff at the lobby was not extremely in-your-face friendly, but they were always polite and accommodating. The only downside to our specific room was the size of the beds. We booked a room with a description stating "two double beds" since there were 3 of us staying at the hotel, but the beds were a bit small (full size instead of queen size). Next time we will inquire about rooms with bigger beds, because we would definitely choose this hotel again if they could accommodate us with that.
