Unacceptable
We were not impressed with the hotel at all. I sent email in advance asking about parking at the hotel. I received a response from them saying parking was 7 euros per day. First of all, they do not have thier own parking and we had to park at an underground parking garage nearby at 20 euros a day. When we arrived which was very late, we entered the parking garage and parked the car 3 levels below. Every elevator was locked for the night and we couldnt find a way out! There was a few of us basically locked into the parking garage and most doors were locked to walk up stairs. We found a speaker and spoke to someone who was supposed to meet us to help us out but no one came. So, we eventually found a access door and found ourselves out of there. It is frightening to know that if a fire were to break out, we could not get out in a hurry or at all! What about the disabled and their luggage?? How would they get out? The hotel staff was not at all helpful or concerned about this at all. We asked for a wake up call which we never got. We woke up late and frantic to get to a meeting. When I let the front desk know what had happened, instead of apologizing and checking their systems, they insisted they placed the wake up call and infering that I was mistaken. The room was at best adequate, extremely tiny as most european hotels are. Bring your own toiletries as most european budget hotels (but hardly budget prices) give you none. Your lucky if you get a tiny bar of soap.
