Its Venice
The rooms were tiny...clean...staff was helpful...close to train stations so yo dont have to lug your bags up and down steps on the bridges.

Heart of Venice
Cant beat the price or location. The hotel staff spoke english and were very familiar with all the local sites to visit. The hotel is in the heart of Venice. The street it is off of can take you directly to Realto bridge and Saint Marks Square. Internet cafe is about 50 yards from hotel on main street. The room had airconditioning and a very modern bathroom. The room is small but comfortable. TV had only Italian language channels. Breakfast is light and good. The room was cleaned daily and toiletries were replaced as needed. Their is no elevator so book a lower floor if you cant climb steps(only three floors) :)
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
For the best pizza (Pizza Volo), ice cream, night life, drinks, etc. head to where the locals go (St. Margarite square). Its the college area and it has a lot of inexpensive but great deals on food and nightlife. Get a daily or weekly pass that lets you ride unlimited on bus and boat. This can be used to go to Murano, Mestre and airport. Must visit Murano and see glass being made.
