excelent view
is a very nice hotel in the center of Sevilla, and the pool was wonderful during this summer.

Good location, but not 4 stars
The big positive of this hotel is its location, directly opposite the cathedral and close to the major tourist cites. The lobby is lovely, but the rooms are small, furnishings old, the bathrooms out-dated and the hallways dark and unattractive. The rooftop pool is tiny but the bar and seating area are attractive and the pool does provide some relief from the sweltering Sevilla days in the summer. Service was competent but not as friendly as one might expect from a tourist hotel. Breakfast buffet disappointing.

Can’t recommend it highly enough!
Our stay at the Dona Maria was perfect! The staff at the front desk were professional and very helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and well cared for. The rooftop pool, bar, and seating area are beautiful and provide wonderful views of the cathedral. Don’t miss having a drink up there at sunset. That pool is a nice relief from the sweltering Sevilla days in the summer! The rooms (and we saw four during out stay) were clean, spacious enough, and the bathrooms were very nice with double sinks. Hallway/hotel noise was not a problem like it was in other places we stayed in Spain. The price was very reasonable, and the hotel is in the perfect location to reach all important sites in Sevilla. It is right next to the Cathedral, the Real Alcazar, the Archivos de Indias, the Barrio Santa Cruz. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Sevilla!
