Loved this hotel
This is a wonderful hotel in the best location in Prague. I loved every aspect of our stay in Prague, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive and very helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. This hotel is in an excellent location too. Would highly recommend it.

Good Location and Friendly Service
First, this is a wonderful hotel. Good location and friendly staff really sell the experience. Second, after looking at many US and European website, the price on Expedia couldnt be beat! Noone was even close. However, it was very difficult picking between room types. There is little information on any website, including the hotel website. I chose an Executive Suite which I thought would have very tall ceilings and top notch furnishings. They have two types of Executive Suites though: one-bedroom and two-bedroom. If you only need one-bedroom, make sure to email them and specify that. The two-bedroom suites are on the top floor (fifth floor) which does not have elevator access and used to be the attic of the palace. Therefore, there are very low ceilings and numerous beams to dodge. It was a spacious suite and had a nice kitchen and great unobstructed views. Also, make sure to request a room on the third or fourth floors to avoid street noise and have any shot at a view. The staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. There is onsite WIFI only in the lobby. And, there are no-charge washer/dryers on each floor (except the top fifth floor). There was also A/C in each room, though we didnt need it in October. Try to get a package with breakfast included. Otherwise it was $30USD per person. Ouch. It was very tough to find any breakfast outside of a hotel in Prague.
We went in mid-October (mid-week) hoping to miss any tourist crowds. We were wrong! Im guessing this city is just busy almost every month of the year now. All the tourist sites were very crowded in October. I couldnt imagine what the summer is like!

Perfect Prague Hotel
Location was perfect: in the midst of all local attraction but not directly in the middle of Old Town Square where it can get too loud and congested during all hours of the day. Everything is within walking distance as Prague center is small and easily navigatable. Hotel is beautifully romantic but homey (like coming to stay in some rich relatives house) and clean. Front desk speaks fluent English and is friendly and helpful. We booked a luxury suite room #219 (cheaper price on Expedia vs. hotels own website): about 1800 square feet with a separate living room, breakfast room w/ mini kitchen, washer/dryer and a large bedroom with a romantic 4 poster draped-bed. Linens are soft cotton and bed is extremely comfortable. Only complaint of this room is there is no toilet in the master bathroom. The only toilet is in the half bath off the living room. But every room is a different layout, so this is not a typical characteristic of all the rooms in this hotel.
If you arrive at Pragues train station, be sure to reserve a taxi ahead of time as no taxi would pick us up because we didnt reserve ahead. Weve never been to any city where this is the case. No need to rent a car because streets are small, mostly one ways, no parking & difficult even for a GPS to locate.
