I will return!!!
I was unaware that the weekend that i booked my room, was the Fun Run. I was thinking that i was only going to hear alot of LOUD and noisy cars, but to my surprise i was not disturbed with it at all.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The hotel is near Dennys...Great place...however when you get to the cashier mention that you are staying at Silver Queen, you recieve 10% off.

How Bad Could It Be?
Did you ever see that episode on Seinfeld where Kramer went to Hollywood and stayed in a cheap, old, rundown apartment house and met a withered up old former 1940s movie actress?Well, the Silver Queen is not as bad as the apartment house, but if the old lady was a motel she could be the Silver Queen. This place is more like the motel in which Nicolas Cage went to die a slow, alcoholic suicide in Leaving Las Vegas. My thinking when booking a room is always, how bad could it be? If you decide to stay at the Silver Queen in Kingman youll find the answer to that question. If you are put in the rooms on the other side of Dennys, beware. You may be unlucky enough to get my room; uncomfortable bed and pillows, rattling AC fan,TV with volume control that wouldnt lower below a loud roar, a toilet that would not stop running after you flush it, a rotating microwave platter without a platter, no iron, 60-grit sandpaper bath towels that might be as old as this dump itself, and a bathroom fan that didnt work. The exterior was dingy and dirty and my non-smoking room still stunk of non-filtered PallMalls that could have been burned by some deadbeat 30 years ago. The communal trash can outside my door was not emptied the whole weekend and was overflowing with Coke cans, cigartette butts and empty Pampers boxes. If you find the rumble of mile-long freight trains, police sirens, 18-wheeler horns and the sound of the freeway to be soothing, this is the place for you. I dare you to stay here!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The one good thing I can say is there is a Terribles gas station within walking distance that makes a great cup of coffee.
