Adequate hotel in Southampton England
There was a tour group of students in the hotel and a majority of them were on our floor. They made quite a lot of noise late into the night running in the halls, etc. We asked for and received a different room on a higher floor (just off the elevators). Lots less noise so we were satisfied. Would have enjoyed a non-buffet breakfast as I do not like heavy meals before going out touring. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Wonderful park area
The hotel is just across the street from a park running down to the Gate. Good neighborhood.

Great Room for the Price
We used the hotel to transition from London to a cruise ship leaving out of Southampton. It was perfect for our purposes - clean, comfortable, close to the bus station, the cruise terminal and the downtown area. For our purposes it was ideal. The breakfast was pretty good, too.
