Pleasantly surprised!
The 1 bedroom was nice and clean. There were extra pillows and towels. It surely makes up for not having any front desk person. It’s a hassle though when the card key doesn’t work, that means you have to go to the other hotel to get a new set.

The Worst Hotel Service ever
This is the worst place we have ever stayed. The service was very bad. Room service came only ONCE within our 7 days stay. We called asking for extra towels and no response. We ended up to use the wet towels. The check-in place is not in the same hotel. We wasted 2 hours driving back and forth looking for the hotel after found the check-in place. The worst was at the check-out, we told the clerk our dis-satifaction, they said it was nothing to do with them (the management com) and we should direct any complians to Experdia.

Cozy and comfortable
Our family of four stayed at this lodge during the busy President’s Day holiday and week in mid-February. The room itself had a wonderful kitchenette where we prepared all our meals. The washing machine and dryer were useful. The fireplace was great. The room remained warm and comfortable all night. The best part about the lodge was that the shuttle bus to the Whistler, Blackcomb ski area stopped right in front of the building. The bus loaded up at our stop but there was always another bus right behind. Maid service comes every three days and they emptied the trash and replaced towels etc. One drawback was trash disposal was in the basement and since we were there for a week we had to make one or two treks down there. All in all a great lodge. I would recommend it for convenience and comfort. The only insignificant drawback was the one bedroom would have done well with a queen bed. The king bed took up all the space in the room and there was precious little space to move around.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you have kids that spend all their energy on the slopes and the pool, stock up on groceries to enjoy some quiet dinners in your room. The fireplace and the snow falling outside make for a fine family evening. And you can save money for the pricey lunches on the mountain.
