Great experience

We stayed 4 days and had a great experience. The location was centrally located between all the places we wanted to walk to. The staff was extremely accommodating and the rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. It was a perfect place to stay when visiting for business or pleasure, and we would certainly go back next time we go to Mexico City.

Good 4 Business

This boutique would have been more ideal if i were there on business but it still was a safe location and very comfortable. The only thing that would have made it more appealing was if the hotel had a Concierge. It appeared that there was no one there to help out with some tourist inquiries.

Would definitely go back

It is a small hotel, but the staffs are very attentive and helpful with everything. Of course, things sometimes go wrong. The internet in my room did not work a day. I went to the lobby and asked about it. They gave me a good reason with good attitude. and they gave me a resolution to the problem. The staffs are very resourceful! Customer serivce was superb!

Great deal!

Good location, infrastructure and also charming! Excelent hotel for the price paid.

Worth great pictures: downtown city tour and tour to the pyramids. Do not forget to take at least a bottle of water to the pyramids because it’s difficult to buy any food or drink there. Also, don’t drink a lot of water because there aren’t many toilets available.

Great hotel, extremely clean, quiet, modern. High speed internet connection. The staff speak English and were very helpful. My first stay in Mexico City and I will definitely stay at this hotel when I return!

A little Spanish goes a long way. Must see Templo Mayor - in Historic District Anthropological Museum

Very welcoming

The hotel was charming and welcoming. The employees were very helpful. Only one issue. Had a room with two beds which left very little floor space. Did not hang up any clothes as the closet was next to impossible to get to.

a highly recommended small hotel

The hotel is in an extremely lovely area, looked adorable from the outside, had friendly attentive staff, and was spotless. Even at 2am check-in, the hotel was well staffed and on point. The room was small, but stylish and very clean, with a duvet, reading lights, internet access and flatscreen tv. Beautiful bathroom, with jacuzzi tub and all the amenities.

Great location, service and comfort

I wasn’t sure about this hotel but honestly I had a great time. I love the bathtub w/ hydro massage. Bed is not as I expected but is very very good, the single room is tiny but is good enough for 1 person, I still think that a couple will have trouble being in such a small room but it’s ok.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

If you are afraid about taking Taxies in Mexico City, you could take the green bus right outside of the hotel and they are big and comfortable, they drive by the main local attractions of the city; make sure you have change though because the system is similar to USA, $4.50 pesos per ride. Using their service could be expensive but is worth because of the time. Excellent customer service. Last recommendation will be, try any Polanco’s restaurant, is the nicest area better than Zona Rosa.

Rooms are boat-like cabins

Newly refurbished, modern and business like. Don’t go here for romance with your spouse or for the charm of Mexico. Pretty good "mid-town" Mexico DF location. The hotel restaurant is best avoided: poor offering and not good value.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Recommendation: have a nice breakfast somewhere else.

Spectacular service

What really stands out about Emporio is the uniformly friendly and helpful staff. I’ve been back twice and it is always the same. Also, the rooms are clean, the linens are comfortable, and the amenities (especially the iPod player) top notch - and in a central convenient location. I have stayed at "fancier" hotels but can’t find a good reason not to return to Emporio when I’m in Mexico City.

A small hotel with excellent service

The staff is friendly, they will try to help you feel at home. People at the reception desk are very polite, the bellboys will quickly learn your name and will have a taxi waiting for you whenever you need it. Internet connection is available in the rooms. The restaurant is specially good for a Mexican breakfast and the location is perfect for a quick trip to downtown Mexico City and its many attractions.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Even if you travel alone, better ask for a double room, this way you will be more comfortable. Single rooms may be a little bit small.

Great Centrally located hotel

If you plan on doing alot of walking the hotel is in a great location; in between Centro historico and Zona Rosa. Condessa/Roma and Chapultepec werent very far either. The hotel was very clean and although people complained about the size, my partner and I felt very comfortable in the standard room. The housekeeper/maid did a great job cleaning the room the 4 nights we stayed there.

Lovely, comfortable and eco-friendlyish

This adorable boutique had an extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to find us excellent seats for the Pumas v Cruz Azul game, and had a driver wait for us at the game. The bedroom was beautiful, and certainly outclassed a very well known and fancy hotel we had stayed at the first 3 nights of our trip. The bedding was great, and they had energy saving lights and flushing system which I was very impressed with. The lounge area was cute and overall it was a great stay and such a great find. We would definitely stay here again.

Terrific little hotel

The hotel Emporio Reforma is a beautiful little hotel in the middle of a very scenic and interesting part of Mexico City. The service was excellent, and while the room was, indeed, small it was beautifully decorated and appointed, and completly comfortable for 1-2 adults. I would definately stay there agian the next time I visit.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Mid-week, off-season provided some very competitive rates.

great hotel on Paseo De La Reforma

This hotel was more than we imagined. Sleep was great. There was construction going on directly outside our room and you could not hear a thing through those windows, it was great, the pillows were a little too fluffy, but we managed. There is a safe that works great and you can personalized it to your own password. Make sure to put the do not disturb sign on the door if you intend to sleep in or leave anywhere in the late morning because the cleaning crew seemed to be eager to get the rooms clean early. The staff were all very nice and helpful. the restaurant had better breakfast than dinner. Chapultepec was only about 20 minutes walking distance. Also, there is a money exchange station right next door. Overall great location, great hotel, would definitely stay again.

Good location, modern hotel

Good location; walking distance to banks, a mall and to Zona Rosa; near a Touribus stop; not a short walk to historic centro but a cheap taxi drive will get you there. Petit room is really petite but nice, modern, looking! Use taxis with meters at all times and be extremely careful at the airport, use only the official taxis at the curbside terminal (door 10).
