Convenient location, decent hotel
My favorite part about this hotel is its location near the intersection of Pembina Hwy and Perimeter Hwy, basically at the south entrance of Winnipeg. It’s easy to find, and you can get anywhere you want to go on the city via Pembina Hwy. Some of the rooms throughout the hotel allow smoking, so you will smell it in the hallways a bit, but that is really the only downside. Our room was non-smoking and perfectly fine inside. The continental breakfast is small, but fine ... with cereal, toast, muffins, coffee and juices. I have no complaints, it is a decent place to stay!
Traveler's tip on shopping
Take Pembina Hwy north to Portage ... go west and you’ll run into Polo Park mall and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers stadium. Go east on Assiniboine and you’ll run into downtown and The Forks. All along the way you’ll pass plenty of drug stores for your Canadian Rx needs!

A good place to stay
Clean and comfortable room although a little tight for space with two beds and desk/table work area. Service was excellent. Complimentary breakfast, free local phone calls, and fridge/microwave were definite bonuses.
