Great Classic Hotel
Santa Catalina was a beautiful, classic hotel in Gran Canaria. We loved that it was different from some of the other hotels on the island--and very historic. Their spa was nice although it’s a bit strange that you have to walk through the gym to get to the spa room. The jacuzzi and saunas are fantastic and overall, the hotel provided a great stay. The buffet breakfast that we had there was also a class act--tasty, beautifully presented and the times were very convenient. It ran pretty late.
Traveler's tip on dining
Restaurants and a couple of bars are located near the underpass right across the street from the hotel. This is a bit confusing and sort of unassuming but it’s worth checking it out. You’ll find yourself right on the marina with plenty of very charming boats. It’s a great atmosphere.

Beuatiful hotel with excellent service
The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The steff is friendly and helpful. The rooms have tall celilings, well furnished and stocked with great bath products. The rooms are clean! The food is excellent with service to match. The pool is nice with food and bar service. The spa is a real treat. We will stay there again.
