Extremely Pleasent Surprise

Expedia has done it again. The Oasis Resort exceded my expectations. Staff was exceptional.I didn’t need to bring anything except food & clothes.The condo was very clean, easy to navigate and a pleasure to be in. Being on the second floor was a added bonus as the crawly things that are everywhere in the desert don’t like to venture above ground levels. The pool/s were clean & easy to get to. Discount tickets to Soak City helped my budget. Great location. Easy to get to everywhere without a problem. My grandkids were very impressed with the whole set-up and they are very hard to please at times. I have stayed at a lot of motels & resorts in the Palm Springs area over the last 30 years and I was very pleased to say the least. I hope to return in the future. Only thing that could improve would be a tv in both bedrooms & wireless internet access. Thanks Expedia & Oasis Resort. I can’t think of a reason NOT to stay ay the Oasis Resort.

If you like noise - this is your place

The good - great location and lovely grounds. The bad - the main pool stays open until 12am. If you are near it you will not be going to bed until 12am. Many things broken in our unit,TV remote, lights, toliet, bikes(could not even ride them). They did get fixed when asked. Not enough main desk staff and a crabby women, who smoked to much, was one of them! We also had very nosiy neighbors. They partyed untill the wee hours of the morning and had many many people - kids and adults - staying in a unit for 6. My husband put it best - it was like a spring break hotel for lets get drunk families who were on a budget!

I love this place

I’ve been here a few times already. Everything is there, kitchenette, bbq grill, frige, washer/dryer, vacuum, even fly swatter!! This is one of my favorite place since I now have a baby. You can cook your own meal, ride bike, heated pool, jacuzzi, lots of golf near by. I always go golfing in early morning, wives and kids stay and swim. Once again, very clean, nice resort type of atmosphere with friendly staff. Best price around the PS, too. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with family.

There is Vons right in front of the resort. You can easily buy anything there. Don’t have to load up EVERYTHING.

Great Family Resort

My daughter and I stayed for 5 days at the resort and found it conveniently located. We were able to get from the airport to the resort in minutes. The location to all other sites that we wanted to see was ideal. We had rented a car and we even had a parking spot in a carport which was impressive. The room had everthing we needed and was very comfy. I think the only thing we could have used would be an extra mirror in the hallway. The pools were lovely and we met alot of nice people. I would recommend this to families with kids of any age.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

You could easily cook up meals at the resort, the kitchen has everything you need and a bbq on the patio. There is a Costco about 15 minutes from the resort if you want to buy groceries for your crew. Lots of good shopping around the area.

Will stay here again

This is a condominium property, with multiple size units. The grounds are beautiful, with multiple swimming pools and tennis courts. You are provided with bikes in each unit (bring your own helmet). The units are clean and quiet. We will return here again.

There’s a full kitchen, and a grocery store just down the main highway.

Nice rooms

I recommend the Oasis because of their nice rooms, but the only drawback to this stay was that our room was on the second floor which does not have direct access to the pool/spa area. I will definitely stay there again, but I will request a 1st floor room.

Best resort ever

I drove up to the gated entry and gave my last name, and the gate opened. I then entered the office and the staff there addressed me by name and had every thing laaid out for me and instructed me to my condo. Very friendly and curtious staff, check in was less than 60 sec and I was on my way. The condo was extremly clean and full with every thing I needed. The landscape throughout the ground was manicured and pools located all over. The bicycle that came with the rentals was a nice touch for a nite ride on the secure grounds. My family and I had a wonderful time and looking forward to going back again. My only negative comit was that there was not a T.V. in the second bedroom but it was all still very worth the trip.

Best place to stay in the desert

We had a wonderful time at the Oasis. With all of the pools, if one was too crowded or had too many kids, it was just a short walk to the next one. We went past 3 different pools until we found a quiet one, but they are no more than a minute away from each other so it wasn’t bad. And the walkway through the grounds was very pleasant. It was too hot to ride the bikes they provided, but maybe next time we could do that. They only downside was we had no maid service the two days we were there and we had to make sure all of the dishes were clean and empty our own trash before we left. It is close to many restaurants, or grocery stores if you wish to cook your own meals. We will definitely be back.

Nice gated community in good location

The decor is somewhat dated, but the units have everything you need and are comfortable. The washer/dryer, dishwasher, Barbecue, bikes, DVD player, etc. were all nice to have. Internet access isn’t listed as an amenity, but for whatever reason I was able to connect to a wireless network from our unit (not sure if they added wireless internet or if I just got lucky and had a neighbor with an unsecured network). I liked the location of the Oasis resort as it is somewhat centrally located between Rancho Mirage and downtown Palm Springs (it only takes a few minutes to get most place you would want to go). Bottom line...nice place to stay.

There are plenty of reasonably priced markets like Albertsons, Vons, etc. to buy food at so don’t worry about packing things in from home.

Pleasantly Surprised

Room and resort were much more than expected. Clean, quiet, and had most everything you needed on hand. It is also well located.

Tropical Relief on a Hot Hot Day

The tropical landscaping on the grounds offered wonderful afternoon shade over the pool on a triple digit day. Relaxing weekend floating the heat away. Six of us shared a two bedroom unit and all commented on the comfort of the beds. One bathtub didn’t drain well, but on the whole it clean and comfortable.

Home away from home

Convenient, clean and roomy Beautiful grounds, nice pools, comfortable stay. Only complaint - leaf blower guys got a little carried away each day.

A nice place to spend time with friends

Could hear every movement that the people in the condo above us made. The streets are too dark at night for walking back to our room.

Instead of packing all of your food when you leave your house, we recommend a trip to Smart and Final and or to Vons for your groceries. Well worth it.

Great stay in Palm Springs

The Hotel was great for families. The two bedroomed condo was absolutely massive and included a garage for the car. Gas BBQ along with washing machine and dryer was a bonus. You dont need to eat out anywhere as all is provided in the room for your comfort.

Try the cheesecake factory at the River complex just down the road on Hwy 111, excellent for families

Pools were too hot.

Instead of a refreshing dunk in the pool it was hot like a jacuzzi, not at all like I had thought it would be. Other pools have refridgeration units installed to keep them cool. The debree/hair inside the pools was disgusting. I never once saw anyone net the pools or clean them.

A nicer pace for palm springs

This was probably the best placed we’ve stood at in the last 5 years of our annual palm springs summer trip. It was very relaxing and the kids loved it. You almost feel as if it’s your own little home away from home. There are many pools to choose from if you find one crowded, and by crowded, it may mean only 3 or 4 people. I recommend you bring your own food and cook, in case it gets late and you get hungry (most places close at 9pm, 10pm if youre lucky). We felt away from it all and it was very quiet. We will stay at again next year!

Best time we had in Palm Springs ever

We were surprise with the size of the room, it was like a small home from home, it was clean and well maintained, lots of pools so our wasn’t packed, the lack of made services was a bit un-convenient but not to bad, we stayed 3 nights. check-in and check-out is super fast. the location is great. I would highly recommend

My girls and I really like this hotel it is like being at home away from home very nice propety my daughters are ready to go back.

you can buy tickets for Soak city at the Hotel for only $15.00 each and Soak city it is just around the corner.

Nice resort, well-planned grounds with excellent amenities.

Resort hotel with part rental, part permanent owners. Multiple pools, tennis courts and bikes to use. Natural gas bbq in quarters. All suites compact but well-thought out and stocked with all needs. Would definitely return.

Desert gem!

We just got back from a long weekend at the Oasis - WOW! Our two-bedroom suite had 1-3/4 baths, living room, dining area, fully stocked kitchen including microwave and dishwasher, full size BBQ with tools and a private patio! Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they are not provided. They do provide soap for the bathrooms and cleaning supplies for the kitchen. They also provide pool towels. We will definitely be back!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Stop off at the grocery store and buy your food - it’s much cheaper than eating out and everything you need is in your villa’s kitchen.
