I will Love to go back

This is a relly nice hotel. It has Its own restaurant (room service) A shuttle to the airport really nice room. Its a huge hotel. Really big. When i got the the hotel codition wasn’t that good. They were making everything new. So that was good. The pool was kind of dirty. I asked the guy in the front desk why? And he said because, since they are re-modeling everything they wont open the pool. And plus it was really cold. I will recommend you to go there.

Customer Service and quality of room unsatisfactory

Our Air conditioner did not work. I explained that to them as soon as i checked in. They said they would send someone to take a look. That never happened. The next day I followed up with the hotel again. Finally 2 hours later they had maintenance take a look. Maintenance took a look and told me to wait 15 minutes and it should be working and he would check in about 20 minutes. 3 hours later no one came back. Finally I spoke to them again and they moved my room. 2 days in a hot hotel room with no AC was miserable.

Not impressed

The hotel was alright for a truck stop or something. I guess it was our fault for not knowing the LA area well. The room was in alright shape.

Ants in room

Quiet, dark room. Huge, uncomfortable pillows. Bed comfortable. Ants in bathroom. Baby cockroach on the bed. Felt like margianlly safe area. Was charged $20.00 on credit card for "possible impending charges." I wasn’t told of this pracrice. Seemed to be resident tenants. Cannot recommend.

To warn other Business Travelers

I did not stay at the Ramada, due to the uncomfortable feeling I had. I felt that this hotel did not live up to the Ramada standards that I have experienced in the past, nor did it look clean or feel safe to stay. Since I was traveling from the east coast, and had been traveling for over 10 hours. I was forced to find another more suitable hotel last minute that cost me alot more money, but it was worth it to have a good night sleep and feel safe.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Stay at a national chain that has a standard that you can feel comfortable sleeping in. For me, that is the Marriot and it’s subsidiaries.

YIKES!!! God help the weary travels who rest here....

I don’t know where to begin. I was in a corner room on the 2nd floor, above a drunk man who would ask my young son if he had matches when we passed by. The internet signal was weak so we were unable to use our laptops. The whole 1st level is smoking. Unfortunately these geniuses don’t know that smoke rises. Elevators apparently never plan on being repaired as I see it is a common theme in the reviews. Parking lot was too small, restaurant was too expensive and they appeared to have more house keepers then guest cause they were always filling the halls with their baskets. Also has ants in the bathroom with black mold on the wall. I was mortified I brought my family there. Never again. Pay the extra cash for a better place unless you plan on being there minimally. It was close to a nightmare.

Howl at the Moon at Universal City walk was a blast. Dueling pianos. But VERY expensive, 4 drinks for $44.00. Ouch...

Not impressed

The hotel was old and run down. One elevator was out of order. The room was unimpressive. The bathroom had ants. I will not stay at this hotel, again.

This hotel gives Ramada Inn a bad name

This hotel was inexpensive so I wasn’t expecting a luxury suite. However, I wasn’t expecting it to be such a negative experience. The room & bedding smelled. The bed sheets being hung over the railings to dry, that might have something to do with it. The elevators were all broken except for one which was at the opposite end of where our room was. The elevators remained inoperable the entire time of our stay. We were unable to gain access to the fitness center as the entire doorknob and card key entry had been removed and the door was deadbolted closed. When I went to the front desk to inquire how I could get in, they told me to use my room key. I informed them that the entire door knob was missing and that it was deadbolted closed. The front desk staff was very drab and did not seem to be interested in any sort of customer service whatsoever. The parking lot was not big enough to accomodate all of the cars of the guests staying in the hotel. There was additional parking across the street which was full on some of the nights too. The only positive thing about our stay in this hotel is that we were hardly there. It may have been part of the reason we stayed away as much as possible. If it wasn’t paid for in advance through the travel service, we would have checked out the first day.

Lovely Place to Stay

I had an enjoyable stay here! Everything is as it was described on their website. It was close to everything and this was my first trip to California. I would choose this place again if I were to fly back out to the Burbank area!!

Very good customer service and close to the airport

Located very close to airport with free shuttle service. The place has an older feel, but rooms are clean and just fine. It is close to a freeway so if you are a very light sleeper bring ear plugs. I did not need any, it is not really that loud. There is a very pretty central spot in the center garden outside to sit surrounded by palm trees (It reminded me of Hawaii). The food is good at the restaurant on the main floor. Best part was the customer service, everyone was so nice, and there was a last minute change of plans and the shuttle driver offered to drive me to the wedding destination I need to go to. In sum, I would stay there again. Side note: And if you are like me and like a very soft thin pillow, you may want to bring your own. The pillows were thick, but I have seen these in other hotels too and I am sure some people like pillows like that.

Very satisfied with my stay

I would definitely stay here again. The Hotel is close to the airport and close to my family. My only issue would be the cost of the food in the restaurant compared to the serving size.

Maintenance problems

The pool area landscaping is amazing. The restaurant is also excellent. The hotel is about 30 years old. Unfortunately, so is the rest of the hotel. Two of the three elevators were out of service and the third was iffy. We sometimes took the stairs to avoid the risk. The room’s air conditioner could only keep it at 84 during the sunny part of the day... and it dripped.

Not impressed with the service and room quality

There was no room service. Left voice mail to get more towels and did not get any response. Toilet plugged due to low water flow. Apparently it’s an issue with other rooms too because there is a janitor that goes around with the plunger.

BOO!!!!

As I arrive to the hotel(my flight was delay)all I wanted to do was sleep, it was very hard due to my room facing the freeway, nostop trafic day and night, early in the mornig other guest making noise and smoking in the hallways.Very unfrendly personal at the front desk(as I check out)

worst hotel stay!!!

i travel a lot and never had the negative experience before.... our 4 day stay was hell!!! the area was horrible! 1st room was too small, no ac... had to request another room... late at night was when they changed our rooms which was directly on the other side and had to move my contents and children in the middle of the night with no help from staff. i did not feel safe, if my stay had not been pre-paid i would have found other accommodations .... not happy, and my family travels at least 4-5 times yearly if not more, never had such poor service.... the front desk was very unapproachable were not helpful!!!

Highly recommend

I had read in the previous reviews that this hotal is on the older side of life so I was a little skeptical. I went with my instincts and I have to say that I had such a pleasant stay at this Ramada. The service was great, the rooms was very clean and comfortable, and I would highly recommend this hotel. It is perfectly located, right off the 5 freeway, and not dar from the great themeparks.

Sunny California

Hotel was ok. Did not hear any airport noise, but definately heard the trains going by. Kind of hard to find since the GPS tries to take you down a road that is blocked off. Excellent access to the 5. Not much to do within walking distance. Overall ok if you want an inexpensive place to stay. Was told by local authorities that the place was a hot spot for colorful night creatures if u know what I mean. Reminds me of the no tell motel’s we have in New York. Could not get the shower to stay at a constant temperature.
