Enchanting Experience
My experience was enchanting and exceeded my expectations. I was traveling with my wife and two daughters who didn’t want to leave and stayed in the suite much of the time which of course meant that they loved the ambience. The surroundings of the Palazzo are really charming being located in one of the most amazing quarters of the old city. Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio at 5 min walking.

Really nice suite apartments !!!
Great location, within a short walk of all galleries and museums etc. The apartments are larger than they appear on the website and are comfortable and well equiped. Bathrooms clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and will arrange restaurant and museum reservations. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Avoid this place
A large suite of cold barren rooms. Furniture was sparse -- dragged out of your grandfather’s attic, some from last week’s yard sale. Cold bare floors. No maid service. Concierge was unable to help with anything -- from phone service to museum reservations to bus route guidance. A long walk from all major points of interest. Palazzo? In your dreams.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Italy is expensive! The Uffizi cost over $90 for the 2 of us. If you stop for a wine or coffee, stand at the bar. They’ll charge you double and triple to sit down. Changing money? Change it all at once -- they have a flat fee of about $7 a transaction, PLUS a percentage commission. Try to find a place that doesn’t charge those fees (we found one, eventually). I love Florence, but it doesn’t love you back anymore.
