Good placo to stay, needs some touch-ups
I stayed here with my children for a week and had a good time. I am not going to rave about the Inn, but it suited our needs and the staff was great. The floor in the room where we stayed felt like it needed to be shampooed at least and there were a few places (like the doors) that were a somewhat beaten up or could use a new paint job. The actual Dock was looking a little old and weathered, but there is not too much the owners can do about that. There was, however, a broken bench that seemed like a safety hazard. I did really like the environmentally friendly literature and practices and the kids loved the pool. Since we were there for a week it was also very nice to have the use of the kitchen (full sized fridge, oven, microwave, and sink). Overall it is a fine place to stay but do not expect a 5 star hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
There are TONS of great places to eat including chains as well as private places with a lot of variety.

Plesant place to stay. Dock was nice to relax at night with tables to sit at and grill if needed.
The hotel was clean and nice with the small kitchen. There was a dock slip if you wanted to rent a boat, you could also sit out there and enjoy the evening at the tables. Nice place for children.

not bad
not a bad place to stay, it was a last min deal for us kitchen was very small. but the place was very clean and they were alway willing to help out.. the owners are husband and wife she is very very nice he was kinda defensive at times if anyone would ask him questions but once he warmed up to ya nice guy, they told us the pool was set at 86 deg but there was no way it was set at that, it was to cold for me. we had some friends stay in the same area and there pool was 87 deg and it was like bath water..
if you are going to hang out at the beach dont drive to Fort Meyers its hard to find a place to park and it will cost about $7.00 a day to park if you happen to find a place to park, there is the Cape Coral beach that is maybe 5-10 mins away from the hotel and very nice same powder soft sand. but do go shopping in Fort meyers but wait till evening not as many people the beach shops are GREAT!! and they are all over the place..
