San Diego visitor
Close to central park (half a block), close to subway 72nd station ( 1 block). No room service, vending machine only. Free continental breakfast. Very small room and bathroom but convenient location. Good neighborhood.

Very convenient
Hotel in nice area, one block from subway, close to all area attractions: Central Park, Museums, Theater district.....
Go to River Cafe under the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn! Pricey but worth it.

It was OK
It was OK for the money, the room (we had a room with 2 beds) was a good size compared with other NYC hotel rooms. The bathroom was tiny, there was barely enough room for one person to stand with the door closed! The location was great, 1/2 block to Central Park and one block to the subway.
Don’t be afraid of taking the subway, its very reliable and not once did I feel not safe.
