Decent hotel in Paris
We spent seven days staying at the Pavillon de Montmartre on a recent trip to Paris in October 2009. The Expedia hotel description indicated free wi-fi which the hotel didn’t have and we were very disappointment. The staff were nice and helfpful, the bed wasn’t level which made sleeping uncomfortable for my boyfriend, the toilet had trouble flushing and the shower head was broken. Also, the hotel breakfast isn’t worth the cost at all and you can certainly pick up a fresh croissant and a cafe around the corner. The location of the hotel was in the center of Montmartre and great because there was a lot to do and eat in every direction. Overall, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the hotel but the location was perfect for us.
We were fortunate to stay in Montmartre during the annual wine festival (first or second weekend in October). The streets were packed with locals and tourists drinking wine and following the celebration throughout the neighborhood.

small clean room, nice bathroom. hotel was not as helpful as we would liked in finding nearest subway, better restaurants etc.
