Excellent hotel
Definitely the best 3 star hotel I have every stayed in. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. My girlfriend and I have been on a trip around Italy this year and compared to other two 4 star hotels we’ve stayed in, this is actually much better. I highly recommend it.
You have to take into account that the only way to get there is either by ferry or by boat bus. By ferry it cost 26 euros for the car (normal 4 door sedan) plus 5 euros per passenger (november 2009).

Great affordable place to stay on your trip to Venice!!!
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Venice. We were very impressed with our spacious room (it was very modern and clean) and the great breakfast. Lido is about a 15 min Vaporetto ride from St. Mark’s square and this ride is a great way to see the city. Also, the public beach is only a few blocks away from the hotel so that is a bonus not available on mainland Venice. In addition, Lido is less crowded and has sort of a beach resort town feel that is a welcome change from the bustle of Venice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice, affordable place to stay while visiting the city if you don’t mind walking a bit and taking a boat ride. We would definitely stay here again!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Travelers 29 and younger: Look online to learn about the Rolling Venice card and buy one in Venice. It will save you lots of money on Vaporetto fare, museum passes, and other things.
