Not a 5 stars hotel
Not a great deal for the money paid. Corridors were noisy getting worse during room service. Personnel were not friendly and not very helpful. Overall, not what you expect out of 5 stars in the Melia chain.

Perfect Hotel
Great location, right off the metro stop. The room was cozy and perfect. They really made perfect use of all the space in the room. I was very impressed with the quality of the room and the bathroom. Staff was polite and helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Five star hotel great value
We arrived at the hotel at 9:00am and checked in with no problem. The hotel is quiet, recently remodeled and is located in a great part of Madrid. Lots of bars and restaurants located nearby. Room was always clean, modern with a nice flat screen TV. Would definately stay there again. Staff was helpful and did friendly; much more than other five star hotels I have stayed at in Madrid. This is the hotel that is used by a lot of airlines to overnight their flight crews.
