Good location
Grocery store and a Starbucks within walking distance. IHOP is a 7minute walk away. Rooms are clean, quiet area and very close to LAX.

Not a very professionally run unit
1) First assigned room was still occupied by someone else. Was assigned a new room. 2) Bathroom was distinctively smelly. Dint bother to rectify after the first incident.

Will definitely be back next time I’m in LA
This hotel is great. I plan to stay here each visit to LA. It’s really close to the airport which was a plus to me because I hate hauling suitcases around. It’s centrally located to all of the beaches and shares a parking lot with Ralph’s, a grocery store. Just a short trip or bus/train ride away is a Whole Foods, Borders, shopping mall, and Walgreens. For those of you without wheels, the green line station is on the corner and there’s a bus stop right out front. The green line can get kind of shady at night though--I felt safer on the bus. The rooms are studio suites with a kitchen. There is a microwave and full-sized refridge/ freezer so you can save lots of money by eating a few meals in your room. If you stay under a week, there’s no housekeeping. But you can just ask for any extra towels, linens, or toiletries you may need during your stay. I loved this because I hate tidying up my room each day before I leave--I got to sleep a little later in the morning.
Traveler's tip
My only complaint is that they put me in a smoking room when I had specified a non-smoking one. It could have been easily resolved I’m sure but by the time I noticed, I was too lazy to repack all my stuff (and just wanted to get to the beach :) But if it’s a big deal to you, maybe verify before leaving the front office.
