A charming ’off the beaten path’ retreat

Okay, so if you are looking for a 5 star, this is not your place. But, if you are looking for an experience that is full of ’outdoor’ charm, friendly staff, good food, etc. - book your room here. The location is about a 1/2 mile from the bus stop, an easy walk in a safe neighborhood. Having a local cell phone is an added plus. Use the transport service recommended by the hotel to get to and from the airport. Rooms are adequate and certainly unique. It took us a night to get used to the "atmosphere" of the room, and once we adjusted, we ended up thoroughly enjoying our time. While not for everyone, this worked perfectly for my husband and I, and we’d return.

Escape to paradise

Was a little worried about the cabanas, they are made of fabric after all, but even in high winds they stood up nicely! I was upgraded to an ocean-view cabana which was awesome and right on the rocks over the water. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful, they were absolutely wonderful. It was over Halloween and we got the scoop on all the best costume events. The town is quite a hike away, but you can take a taxi or minibus everywhere you need to go. I would most definitely go back to 9 Beaches, can’t wait!

Must see Horseshoe Beach, it is breathtaking.

Our sweet spot

Relaxing atmosphere, Incredible breakfast, awesome views. Friendly and helpful staff. Cannot wait to come back next year. Remember Dark and Stormy’s happy hour is 3-6 and the Raspberry Lemonade is great! The complementary cell phone for use anywhere on the island is a super plus, you can call the front desk from anywhere on the island for advice. Complementary beach towels are wonderful.

Rosa’s in Hamilton has excellent fajitas!
