Enjoyed my stay.

I stayed in a two bedroom suite on the 2nd floor and there was a TV in only one of the rooms and no trash cans. I would recommend that a TV and trash can is in each room. There was a manual lock bolted on the window in the living room and we could not open it wider than an inch. I recommend that you remove it. It was hot that weekend and there is no ceiling fan in that room. For a two bedroom, there was not enough extra toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to call for it.

fun and relaxing

the hotel was super clean and the rooms were big, had kitchens, etc. the manager gave us a free upgrade to a two bedroom suite because they had several vacant, and this made a big difference in the comfort of our stay. they have appetizers and drinks for free 3 nights a wk in the lobby which is fun for socializing, and the breakfast buffet is substantial and amazing! Worth every penny...we’d be back for sure. The only teeny downside was the landscapers using very loud blowers just before 7am...luckily we had to get up and go anyways, but if we’d been there to lounge more it would’ve been really frustrating.

Great Hotel

We were in Phoenix for our daughter’s college graduation. Better breaksfast than in any hotel that I have stayed in anywhere. A hot breakfast was available every morning (not just the typical cereal, pastries, etc.). Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Full kitchen including condiments. Everything was very clean, and neighborhood was very safe. Only negative was a small pool.

Perfect for Quick Stays

I stayed over at this hotel in Tempe while picking up my fiance’ and close family friend [their flights were six hours apart]. Offered plenty to keep my busy. The rooms were well kept and with the exception of a lingering [burnt] food odor, everything was great. Grounds were very well arranged with a variety of "sit and talk" locations. We also had a chance to take advantage of the pool, and on a late May day in Phoenix, it was well worth it!

Loved it

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was great. It had a dishwasher, full size fridge, stove/oven and microwave. We had a great view of the pool and plenty of channels for my husband to flip through on TV. The queen size bed and sofa sleeper were both comfortable but a little too close together. Breakfast was awesome. Such a variety to choose from. Staff was wonderful. Stay here!

Would not return to this hotel

The security to this hotel was not to my satisfaction. I left my room at 10:30 a.m & when I returned about 10:30 p.m. I found my room OPEN (UNLOCKED) and the lock on my suitcase was missing, and someone had been in my luggage. I notify the front desk, whom failed to mention it to the manager. I spoke to the manager when I return home and she promised to get back to me. 5 days later I haven’t heard nothing. The hotel was very nice and clean, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

I will stay here again. Freeway close and near food and gym. Very clean...great internet service. Such a great value.

Very Clean Hotel, Attentive Staff, Great Breakfast!

This has been my 3rd time at this hotel, and every time the service gets better and better. The staff was very polite and very helpful. My room was extremly clean and comfortable. The pool is a nice spot to relax but I do wish it had a jacuzzi, that would be nice. The breakfast served every morning in the lobby, is well worth getting up for! Overall a great hotel.

Traveler's tip on shopping

Just across the street is a great outlet mall. It has lots of great deals. It is also close to the freeway, which is nice for easy access to surrounding areas.

Highly Recommended

A great place to experience cactus league spring training. We felt very secure staying there. The suite we had was clean and comfortable. The lobby has two computers for guest use. A very helpful staff; they do things right.

Traveler's tip on dining

They did offer a free breakfast and dinner which was okay. But if you want a very good breakfast, go to U.S.Egg, which is east on Baseline Rd. at Mills Ave. Nice place, nice portions, and great people.

Ready to book again for next spring

When traveling in a group of four guys from the midwest and planning to take in golf, Cubs and sun,this was the perfect place to stay. Everything we needed was here at the Marriott. The two bedroom suite was clean, comfortable and spacious. They let us sit poolside til the wee hours of the mourning and had a great breakfast available each day. Close to downtown Tempe nitelife which was a definite plus. Thumbs up all the way around!

If one wants to experience the nightlife of downtown Tempe, this would be the perfect spot to call base camp!

Overall good choice

This is a reasonally new hotel. Suite rooms have full kitchens with ice in the fridge, a comfortable bed, a good sitting area, decent lighting and a desk. A few negatives: a very noisy air conditioner, bathroom showed signs of wear, coffe pot was dirty. More positives: when the air conditioner was off the hotel is quiet, good business center in the lobby, friendly staff. I would consider staying there again on future trips

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The hotel offers a reception in the evening... but only 3 days a week. Mon, Tues and Wed. The breakfast menu is posted on the refrigerator in the room.
